Let's Talk

I'm most responsive via email for initial conversations: kareyanne@gmail.com

I typically respond within 24 hours. If you're reaching out about a potential project, it's helpful to know:

  • What you're building and where you're headed

  • The specific challenge you need creative leadership for

  • Your timeline and any key milestones

  • Whether you're looking for an embedded partnership or project-based work

For the past decade, I've worked at the intersection of hard tech and high craft—leading creative strategy for companies where design isn't decorative, it's operational infrastructure.

I lead creative strategy at ROI Communication, where I've directed event design and motion storytelling for Amazon, built e-learning systems for Microsoft, and led internal brand projects for Adobe. I also run Array Templates, my own design studio specializing in template systems and brand infrastructure for technical companies. Previously at Duarte, I led presentation storytelling and design systems for Apple, Google, and Salesforce—creating linked templates and UI interfaces for high-stakes pitches. My career began at 23andMe, where I developed product design, social campaigns, and digital experiences during their evolution from genetics startup to mainstream wellness platform.

Building in Public: AI-Native Creative Tools

I'm currently building my own local LLM server—not because I think AI replaces creative thinking, but because I'm curious about what happens when you integrate it thoughtfully into creative operations without sending all your IP to OpenAI.

I'm testing applications in:

  • Rapid content generation and iteration for concept development

  • Design system documentation and usage guidance automation

  • Custom creative tooling for technical product marketing

  • Local-first AI workflows that keep sensitive client data in-house

This is early-stage R&D, not productized services. But if you're working on something that could benefit from experimental AI-integrated creative production—especially if you care about data privacy and custom tooling—I'm selectively taking on collaborative projects.
